To ensure the best results and avoid unexpected issues, please review our SLS printing guidelines before submitting your design.
⚠️ Risk Warning: Warping & Thin Walls
- High Warping Risk:Flat parts with any side longer than 180mm AND a wall thickness less than 3mm are highly susceptible to warping.
- High Breakage Risk:Any structure with a wall thickness of less than 0.7mm is fragile and prone to breaking during production or handling.
By proceeding, you acknowledge that Primofort is not liable for quality issues (warping, breakage) resulting from designs that do not adhere to these guidelines, and printing fees will still apply.
Recommended Design Specifications:
- Safe Dimensions:For flat parts, keeping all sides under 300mm with a wall thickness of ≥3mm significantly reduces warping. However, perfect flatness on large parts cannot be guaranteed.
- Consultation Required:If any side of your part exceeds 350mm with a wall thickness of>3mm, please discuss the design with our engineers first.
- Crucially, for all flat or thin-walled parts, you must define the minimum acceptance criteria (e.g., “flatness tolerance must be within X mm”) to prevent disputes over quality.
